Bene Gesserit - The Second Chapter

Hello everyone this is the second incarnation of a Bene Gesserit fansite. The original site got a nasty letter and it was very obvious that there was no way it could move forward with that name.

The idea of starting an organization based on the idea of the Bene Gesserit was starting to gather some steam before it became fairly obvious that there was no viable way forward. There was a two part manual written by Daniel Fletcher which was very intersting. It was written in the spirit of the books and is worth a read for a serious enthusiast. The combat style is Ninpo Budo Taijutsu, or more commonly Ninjutsu. The logo on this website was created by Daniel Fletcher, used without permission (but hopefully it is ok).

You are probably here because some aspect of the Bene Gesserit appeals to you. It could be the examination and manipulation of power structures. It could be the examination of religions. It could be prahna-bindu training. It could be the sexual techniques. It could be a non-standard complete education. It could be because you want to shake your head and see how crazy people are in the world.

For this idea to move forward it is going to need another name, a name that will not attract any legal attention. There will need to be enough committed like-minded people to get the first chapter established. There will need to be enough substance and flexibility to the organization to keep it going and vital.

If you would like to get involved, post a hello in the site's introduction thread and check back every once in a while. In general terms let everyone know why you are interested in the site and what aspects an organization like this would have to really interest you.

Hopefully we get back the old crowd and get back in touch. I can manage these boards and collectively we can figure out the best way to get ideas together and put together a weekly meeting to put power to the ground.

I was wondering what happened when the old board disappeared. From what you have written, someone wrote you regarding the use of the words Bene Gesserit? A new, similar name would be great. I will try to help think of one.

Welcome back! Yeah there was a cease and desist order from some lawyer types. Obviously the only problem they have with this is the name. Name suggestions are welcome... Maybe I will create a thread for suggestions.

I heard of an online Bene Gesserit organization about a year on the Future Imperatives website

I followed the links, but no organization seemed to exist.
I did find Daniel Fletcher's Bene Gesserit Training Manual, and I read the entire thing.
I don't think Part 2 was around at the time, but I will definitely be making time to read it.
